Our Global Outreach Team exists to strengthen and support our overseas people and partner organisations. Their work is rooted in prayer, generosity, and encouragement, helping us live out our calling to be a blessing beyond our own community.

What We Do

  • Prayer: We regularly pray for our partners and overseas workers, standing with them in faith.
  • Financial Giving: 12% of our church income is given to both global and local partners, resourcing their ministries.
  • Promotion: We share stories and updates from our partners to inspire and inform our church family.
  • Mission Trips: We organise trips to visit and encourage our partners, giving our church family opportunities to serve, grow in trust, and lean on God away from their everyday life.

Upcoming Mission Trip: Albania 2026

We are planning to send a team to our link church in Albania from 9 – 17 April 2026 (subject to booking flights and accommodation).

Our partner church, Drita E Botës (which means Light of the World), is located in Shkozë, just outside the capital city, Tirana. We have visited this church several times already, and each visit has been a source of mutual encouragement - our team blessed by their hospitality and friendship, and the church uplifted by our presence.

The team will have opportunities to:

  • Encourage the leadership team
  • Engage in ministry activities within the church.
  • Support outreach initiatives in the local community.
  • Visit other Christian agencies working in Tirana.

If you feel God is calling you to be part of this team - or if you simply want to experience the richness of being part of a church community in a different country and culture—we would love to hear from you here.

Recent Visit: Moldova 2025

In October 2025, Simon, our Senior Pastor, travelled with a team of 6 church members to visit Vasile and Maria who pastor our partner church in Brinza, Moldova through our connection with TEN-UK. Simon's reflections highlight the deep impact of these visits, both for us and for our partners.

Our Wider Connections

Alongside Albania and Moldova, we continue to support and connect with other global and local partners. Each relationship is a reminder that God’s church is bigger than any one place - it is a worldwide family.

Here are a list of our partners:

bms-logoGod has worked through BMS supporters, partners and workers to save and transform lives. Founded in 1792, BMS Baptist history has laid a rich foundation from which they still learn, grow and take inspiration today. BMS believe that every follower of Jesus has a calling to mission.

Partnership shapes all that BMS do – whether they’re called to pray, give or serve, either overseas or in our local contexts. BMS' work is based on three strategy areas, Heart for the Gospel, Hope for the World and Help for the Journey.

TEN Red LogoTEN began in 1965 and it was focused on supporting the work of indigenous Christian partners in European countries where the good news of Jesus Christ was either banned or suppressed. Today, TEN's ministry focuses on 10 European countries with over 50 partners.

Maria & Vasile Grigorita. SeptUpton Vale provide some support to Maria and Vasile Grigorita through TEN-UK. They lead Brinza Baptist Church in the south of Moldova; a church mainly of young people and the elderly. Almost all ‘middle-aged’ people have left to find work abroad because of poverty in Moldova and in particular in the rural, agricultural, areas such as Brinza.
