Hi there! I’m Simon, Senior Pastor here at Upton Vale, and I want to personally welcome you.

Whether you’ve just moved to the area, are exploring faith, or looking for a church to call home – we’re so glad you’ve found us.

We are a group of ordinary people doing their best to be followers of Jesus; we’re all about being a loving, Christ-centred community who are passionate about the Bible and prayer, and where everyone is encouraged to grow in their faith. We believe church isn’t just something you attend – it’s something you belong to. We’d love to get to know you and help you feel part of our family.

Our Sunday Services

Morning Service – 10.30am

Our main weekly gathering for all ages. It includes worship led by our band, Bible teaching, prayer, and groups for children, young people and B2gether (adults with learning disabilities). Whether you're used to church or it's your first time, our morning service is a great place to start.

Evening Gatherings – 6.30pm

Deeper meets on the first and fourth Sunday evenings each month. We explore the depths of God's Word by taking a deeper dive on the message from the morning service.

SoulFire meets on the second Sunday evening each month. There is no agenda other than to listen to, connect with, and be led by the Holy Spirit through prayer and worship.

Missional Prayer meets on the third Sunday evenings each month. This is led by our Global Outreach Team and we pray for our global partners and situations around the world. Some sessions are held in person and some on Zoom.

Planning a Visit

Visiting somewhere new can be a bit daunting – we totally get that! Here’s what you can expect when you come:

A friendly welcome as you arrive
No need to dress up – come as you are
Tea, coffee and squash served after the service and a chance to get to know some more people
Clear guidance on where to go, including children’s groups
A relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere

Seedbed – Life Together

Although we love to gather, church is more than Sundays. Seedbed is our way of doing life together in small, intentional communities of 3–5 people. Each Seedbed group meets regularly to:

Read and reflect on Scripture
Pray for one another
Encourage each other in following Jesus
