the cottage cafe.pngThe Cottage Cafe is situated at 5 Lymington Road, Torquay, opposite the Library and next to Upton Vale Baptist Church.

Opening hours are Mondays to Fridays from 10am until 4pm.

Our best sellers are our homemade soup and homemade cakes. Also on the menu are sandwiches and toasties, jacket potatoes, ham and cheese ploughmans lunches and scrambled eggs or beans on toast.

All our coffees are freshly ground Fairtrade coffee beans and we use Fairtrade teas also.

On the shelves you will find 'Created' fair trade gifts, Cottage Cafe mugs, Traidcraft biscuits and coffee and also various ranges of greeting cards.

The Cottage Cafe is staffed by volunteers and all the profits from the Cafe are given to Christian projects overseas.

In 2010/2011 we gave away an amazing £23,327! Below are some of the places the money from our work in the Cottage Cafe has gone to.

The money from our World Box (tips) has helped support a family with foster children in the Ukraine, gone towards relief in Pakistan after flooding and has paid for a Shelter Box.
