Music @ UV

Whenever we meet together at Upton Vale to praise God, hear his word and encourage one another in our Christian lives, music plays an important part. Our Music Coordinators, Mark and Esther, work closely together as part of the leadership team, meeting every week with the pastors to plan our services & other special events.

We really value the help of our Musicians, Singers, PA operators, Powerpoint operators and Administration helpers. If you’d like to get to know more people in the church, helping in one of these areas may be a good start! (Please contact the Church Office)

It’s great to have one or more Christian Music/Worship CDs at home or in the car to encourage and stimulate you. "Choice Words" in Paignton (01803 551316) and Newton Abbot (01626 334027) are our local Christian book/music shops and will help you choose, or grab Esther, Mark or one of the musicians after a service.

We have 3 Worship Resource CDs designed to help you get to know some of our repertoire or just to sing along to in the car! The most recent, "Near to the throne", contains songs which tell of God’s gentle love, his humble sacrifice, the power of the cross, the defeat of death, the wonder of forgiveness and a hope for the future.

"A life worth living" and "Day after day" are still available. All CDs are £3.00 each (plus 50p P&P) and profits from them support the Charity work of our Cottage cafe.
