Ever read something really amazing that’s jumped off the page at you?book grp.jpg

Our worldview can sometimes be changed by a cracking novel, but there is also a vast array of Christian literature to help us on our discipleship journey - books written centuries ago as well as by writers, teachers and prophets of our time.

.

Where to begin though, as you face a bewildering array of titles on Amazon or at the local bookstore?

Look out for bi-monthly reviews of inspiring books, or come along to Book Group, which is an opportunity to share great reads, and discuss discipleship issues in the nitty-gritty of life.

It’s for anyone – you don’t have to be an avid reader or intellectual! It’s a great way to get to know people, and relax over a cup of coffee, and talk about what you’ve read, and you can dip in and out of the group if there is a book that particularly captures your imagination!

The group normally meets bi-monthly. Contact Merrilyn Williams on 01803 606384 or 07792 025212 for more information.

Our next meetings:

    • 26 April - 'Love wins' by Rob Bell and 'Christ Alone' by Michael E. Wittmer at Merrilyn's home
    • 21 June - 'The generation game' by Sophie Duffy

We have a mailing list! If you would like to receive mailings with details of the books and the forthcoming meetings, please contact Merrilyn so we can add you to the list.
